Scottish Ballet Creates – Choreographic Mentorship Scheme
Scottish Ballet is offering three Scotland-based choreographers an opportunity to explore and develop their creative voices.
Throughout this exciting mentorship scheme, artists will receive:
A programme of bespoke mentorship, tailored to meet the individual needs and level of each participant
A two-week creative period that includes choreographic masterclasses, artistic mentorship, access to industry experts and peer networking opportunities
Studio space and access to Scottish Ballet dancers as choreographers create a short dance piece
An exclusive platform at Scottish Ballet to showcase their new work to an invited audience
The scheme will run throughout the weeks 17 and 24 July 2017 and be delivered by Scottish Ballet Artistic Director/Chief Executive, Christopher Hampson and Kerry Nicholls, internationally renowned mentor, choreographer and performer (kerrynicholls.com).
Applications are open to artists at the following levels:
Level 1: Choreographers with over five years professional experience
Level 2: Choreographers with up to five years professional experience
