We regret to announce that, due to the loss of core funding we have been compelled to make the role of Artistic Director/CEO redundant.
Ailsa-Mary Gold has led the organisation with vision and tenacity since June 2010, initiating considerable organisational development and significant projects such as the Barrowland Project 2012, Dancing City and the Gadfly Project 2014, as well as representing Dance House Glasgow on the Programming Panel for British Dance Edition 2014 and Choreographic Futures. We wish Ailsa-Mary every success for the future.
Ailsa-Mary Gold says “it has been a truly remarkable and rewarding eight years and I would extend my heartfelt thanks to all colleagues past and present, partner organisations, stakeholders, and of course the many artists, participants and volunteers with whom I have had the pleasure of working. I sincerely hope that our paths continue to cross, as I remain committed to contributing to the dance sector in Scotland and look forward to sharing my plans for the future in due course. I sincerely hope that the Board identifies a sustainable way forward for this very special organisation.”
