Dance House Terms & Conditions
By accessing and using this website, you accept and agree to be bound by and comply with our Terms and Conditions.
Dance House Glasgow reserves the right to make changes to the advertised programme.
All classes are for adults age 14+ unless otherwise stated.
Concessions: Concession rates are offered to students, under16s, over60s, Equity members and those on Income Support, Job seeker’s Allowance, Personal Independence Payment or Carers Allowance. Proof of status is required.
Physical Activity Liability Waiver: Please inform your teacher, prior to class, if you suffer from any serious medical condition or injury. Participation in the classes is at your own risk. If in doubt, consult your doctor.
Booking a Course: If you pay for a full block of classes, you are enrolled in that class for the entire term. Course bookings are for the named person and are not transferable.
Refunds, Returns & Cancellation: Refunds will be issued in the following circumstances:
• For medical reasons – Medical Certificate required
• If a class is cancelled by Dance House;
Credit: If, after trying the first class of a course, you find it unsuitable, we will transfer you to a different course OR offer you credit, valid for a limited period of time and subject to an administrative charge. Notification must be made to Dance House within the first two weeks of the course start date.
If you do have to miss a class, we can offer a replacement “one off class” in any of the other classes in the programme, but ONLY in the same BLOCK. Please notify Dance House office if you intend to do this.
Dance House regrets that it is not possible to “carry over” credit classes to another block.
Drop-Ins: Places are available for some of our classes and are sold on a first come first served basis, if there are spaces available.
NB. For some of our classes, there is a limited number of drop-in spaces available to book online on the day of the class. For a list of available classes to book online click here.
All bookings will be acknowledged by e-mail.
Dance House Glasgow uses the services of a third party – MINDBODY – to process bookings and payments. MINDBODY complies with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) tier 1 standard.
Data Protection: In order to respect your privacy, Dance House Glasgow processes your personal data in accordance with the data protection principles set out in the Data Protection Act 1998.
