Maïté teaches Contemporary Release

Maïté, the Artistic Director of Nux, French/ Uruguayan and based in Scotland since 2007. She teaches at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, at Dance House (Glasgow) and Dance Base (Edinburgh), and is part of The Bell Rock co. (formerly Poorboy), a performer’s ensemble directed by Sandy Thomson. Maïté professionally trained in Contemporary Dance, with a focus on release technique, in Paris and Barcelona with various internationally renowned teachers/choreographers. Maïté is particularly interested in collaboration with artists from different art disciplines. She collaborates with the Scottish Mental Health Arts & Film Festival, and also coordinates the International Dance Festival, Deltebre Dansa organised by renowned Spanish choreographer, Roberto Olivan. www.cienux.com
