Lorraine Jamieson

Lorraine graduated in 2005 with a BA (Hons) in Dance, then joined Y dance as Dance Apprentice before accepting a full time Dance Worker/performer position with the company. In 2007 she joined Scottish Dance Theatre as their full time Dance Worker. Lorraine received Arts Council funding in 2009 to create a duet at Dance Base. The work was then performed at Scottish Dance Theatre’s showcase, Under Construction and at the Edinburgh Fringe 2010 as part of the Heads Up programme at Dance Base. Lorraine is now working on various projects as a freelance Artist with Scottish Ballet, Scottish Youth Theatre, Barrowland Ballet, Y dance, Scottish Dance Theatre and Dance House.
